Specialist Support
At Phoenix Abbey, we offer a fully integrated network of therapeutic support to meet the diverse and sometimes complex needs of the children and young people in our care. We can access Speech and Language Therapists (SALT), Occupational Therapists, Equine or play therapies and Psychological Practitioners who work closely with staff to deliver joined-up, evidence-based interventions. From supporting communication and sensory regulation to addressing trauma, anxiety, and emotional development, our specialists play a central role in each young person’s journey. Our staff are also equipped with specialist training to support care needs.
All support is delivered as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT) approach, with regular planning and review to ensure care remains dynamic, needs-led, and outcome-focused. We work in partnership with professionals, families and carers, valuing their insight and ensuring they are included in assessments, goal setting, and progress reviews. For local authorities, we provide clear reporting, structured intervention plans, and a commitment to high-quality, accountable service delivery.
At Phoenix Abbey, our specialist support services are not an add-on — they are a core part of how we help young people heal, grow, and thrive.
